We're hiring a Director, GTM Performance & Growth Strategy to lead client engagements and guide full-funnel growth strategy across a portfolio of companies. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, owning the systems that drive acquisition, conversion, and retention while mentoring a team of growth operators.

This is a fully remote role for candidates based in the continental US.

About your experience.

10+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or go-to-market strategy, including meaningful client-facing leadership experience. Consultancy or agency experience is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success owning full-funnel growth systems across acquisition, conversion, and lifecycle marketing, including channels such as Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn (bonus: TikTok and programmatic).

Proven experience defining ICP segmentation, value propositions, and messaging frameworks, and translating strategy into creative and campaign briefs that drive measurable performance improvements.

Deep commercial fluency with CAC, LTV, payback periods, attribution, incrementality, and forecasting pipeline/revenue impact.

Experience setting channel strategy, budget allocation, and experimentation roadmaps across multi-channel growth programs.

Strong familiarity with modern growth and analytics tools such as GA4, Looker/Data Studio, Excel/Sheets, HubSpot/SFDC, Segment, Unbounce/Webflow/Instapage, Optimizely/VWO, AppsFlyer/Adjust, Amplitude/Mixpanel, and major ad platforms.

Experience mentoring growth marketers, analysts, or channel specialists.

Highly desirable: experience in financial services, fintech, insurtech, or crypto, including familiarity with platform policies and regulated marketing environments.

Exceptional communicator with the ability to facilitate strategic discussions with founders, executives, and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do.

  • Lead a portfolio of client engagements as the primary strategic partner, setting goals, growth roadmaps, performance targets, and communication cadence
  • Define GTM foundations for clients, including ICP definition, segmentation, value propositions, messaging architecture, and growth strategy
  • Own performance marketing strategy across the funnel, including channel mix, budget allocation, testing frameworks, and optimization strategy
  • Guide conversion rate optimization and experimentation programs, diagnosing funnel drop-offs and prioritizing experiments across landing pages, creative, and user experience
  • Ensure strong measurement infrastructure and performance reporting to help clients understand attribution, incrementality, and the true drivers of CAC and revenue growth
  • Partner closely with creative, content, product, and data teams to ensure alignment between messaging, creative output, and user experience
  • Mentor and develop members of the Fiat Growth team while helping improve internal playbooks, frameworks, and operational systems
  • Contribute to new business efforts, including scoping engagements, supporting pitches, and helping prospective clients understand growth opportunities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to founders and executives navigating complex growth challenges

Requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or go-to-market strategy with 5+ years leading strategy, budgets, or client engagements
  • Demonstrated track record improving CAC efficiency, conversion rates, and revenue growth through systematic experimentation and optimization
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or mentoring growth operators
  • Comfort operating in a remote, distributed environment while managing clients and internal stakeholders
  • Bonus: experience working inside high-growth startups, venture-backed companies, or regulated industries
