We help MGAs, brokers, and reinsurers automate complex workflows across underwriting, bordereaux, and placements, replacing manual processes with faster, more accurate, AI-driven systems. Backed by early traction and a strong technical team, Sytrex is building the infrastructure for how modern insurance businesses run.

We're hiring a Head of Sales UK / Founding Account Executive to establish and grow Sytrex's presence in London, the global hub for reinsurance. This is a true founding role, focused on building pipeline, closing new business, and developing relationships across the insurance and reinsurance ecosystem. You'll work directly with the founders to win deals and shape how Sytrex goes to market in the UK.

This is a remote role based in London (city-based, in-market), with a strong emphasis on in-person networking, relationship building, and client engagement across the insurance community.

Sytrex is an AI-native platform built for insurance and reinsurance companies. We help MGAs, brokers, and reinsurers automate core workflows across underwriting, bordereaux, renewals, and placements, reducing manual work and enabling faster, more accurate decision-making.

We're an early-stage, revenue-generating company (~$1M ARR) with a clear path to scale. Our team is intentionally small and highly technical, with a strong focus on using AI across every function to move faster and operate more efficiently.

The opportunity.

We're hiring our first UK-based sales hire to build and own the London market.

This is a founding, relationship-led role. You'll be responsible for opening doors, building pipeline, and closing business across MGAs, MGUs, brokers, and reinsurers, working directly with the founders.

This is not a "run the playbook" role, you'll help define how we sell and grow in one of the most important insurance markets globally.

What you'll do.

  • Build and own Sytrex's UK/London pipeline and revenue
  • Leverage your network to open doors across MGAs, brokers, and reinsurers
  • Run full-cycle sales, from first conversation through close
  • Partner closely with the founders on deals and strategy
  • Engage senior stakeholders across underwriting, operations, and executive teams
  • Help shape messaging, positioning, and go-to-market based on market feedback

What we're looking for.

Must-have

  • Strong network in the London insurance/reinsurance ecosystem
  • Experience selling into or working with MGAs, MGUs, brokers, reinsurers, or Lloyd's
  • Ability to build pipeline independently in a relationship-driven market
  • 4–8+ years of experience in insurance, insurtech, or a related space
  • Comfort operating in an early-stage, high-ownership environment

Strong plus

  • Experience with delegated authority, underwriting, or placement workflows
  • Familiarity with tools like Guidewire, Whitespace, PPL, or ViPR
  • Experience selling workflow automation, data, or infrastructure tools
